Stranger Things Season 5 Review:
Stranger Things, which premiered in 2016, is now much more than a television show, it is a cultural phenomenon with a blend of 80s nostalgia, horror, sci-fi, and poignant friendship. Season 5 is set in autumn 1987 which is approximately a year after the dramatic events of Season 4. The most important plot twist is the last adventure: seek and destroy Vecna to seal the so-called Rifts that have shaken Hawkins.

Bellwood Quarry, Atlanta and Emory University campus employed as Hawkins Lab and other interior/exterior shots.
In Season 4, more locations were brought in to serve as Russia or other places (e.g. Lithuania).
With the possible exception of certain indications, it appears that the Georgia core will be used again, as well as soundstage and built-in sets to represent Hawkins, the Upside Down, and extended portals or rifts.
A fan report stated that filming had occurred in some areas of Stone Mountain Park (a designated filming region in Georgia) and included scenes of military and ruined Hawkins scenery.
Fan Expectations:
With the fifth and final season of Stranger Things on the horizon, fans are both excited and anxious. It’s been a long narrative arc with emotional storytelling and plenty of surprises, so they want a fitting and impactful conclusion to one of Netflix’s flagship offerings.
