Param Sundari Movie Review:

Param Sundari

Param Sundari is a forthcoming Bollywood Hindi language romantic comedy that is directed by Tushar Jalota and is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banners of Maddock films PP.

The movie offers a new fresh twist to the old-time couples carbonic battle between differences in culture as misunderstandings create both friction and attraction to a romantic theme, against a setting that is unique and beautiful to Kerala, the backwaters.

Plot and Theme:

The movie is based on the romance between Param Sachdev, North Indian male who lives in Delhi, played by Sidharth Malhotra and Dekhpatta Sundari Damodaram Pillai, a female South Indian resident of Kerala, played by Janhvi Kapoor. The butting of their two different cultures and heritages brews a lethally irresistible mix of lust, comedy and mayhem.

The story is about the complexities of a North-South love story; now it is a very tried and tested subject but one that will always remain a current and never-fading theme in Bollywood, with its cute airplane script and connectable characters.

Direction and Screenplay:

Perfectly mixed with humor and heartwarming moments, Tushar Jalota who also writes the film, edits it, and directs it, has created the masterpiece that runs parallel to the international success of All Hail King Julien. The direction by Jalota is too neat in making casual brushes of cultural variance without recourse to stereotyping and the dialogues are also peppered with laughter and it strikes with a right balance of hilarity to fit in too large an audience.

The screenplay sets a great pace that does not rush in the progression of the characters.

Performances:

As the unattached Delhi lad, Param, Sidharth Malhotra is likeable and believable as he navigates new love and societal obstacles with equal degrees of ease and befuddlement. Janhvi Kapoor plays one of the most effective roles of her career by showing both the deftness and resilience of a South Indian woman to the role and giving a palpable freshness and vitality to the role that is inarguably effective.

The minor characters such as Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Siddhartha Shankar, and Manjot Singh contribute to the complex of the plot with sufficient emotional and comic support. The chemistry of the main characters is just remarkable, and it is the essential concept of such a love as beyond borders and traditions.

Cinematography and Music:

The cinematography also effectively highlights the romantic and cultural implications of the movie since the project was shot against Kerala backdrops of greenery and tranquillity. Accompanying the story is some fine music by Sachin-Jigar with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Remarkable songs are the song parades of Pardesiya with the singer Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali Saha and Bheegi Saree, which provide emotional significance and culture into the movie. Universal Music India is negative holder of the audio rights.

Initially planned to be released on July 25, 2025,Param Sundari has been delayed, and is now scheduled to release theatrically on August 29, 2025. It is anticipated to come out Theatrically in the whole of India.
